This is the 1943 New York Handy Guide.

This comprehensive book contains Maps and 95 photos of Radio City,
Museums, Bridges, Amusements, Galleries, Buildings, Churches,
Institutions, Memorials, Monuments, Empire State Building and more.
In addition to the photo's and maps everything featured has a few
paragraphs written about it. Area's like The Battery, Broadway,
Financial district, Chinatown, Harlem, The Bowery, Greenwich Village,
Times Square.
There is a page just for Servicemen & Seamen listing things like the
Stage Door Canteen and other clubs for servicemen. The page also notes
free dancing classes available in dozens of centers and parties are
regularly held at which young woman from the finest homes in New York
are on hand, properly chaperoned, to serve as dancing partners for men
in uniform.
This 8 1/4" x 5 1/4" 96 page soft cover booklet is in excellent
condition. It looks practically new!
