Description

This is a Vintage Mirro Easy Grip Cooky press. I'm not sure how old it is but the graphics on the box look like it might be form the 1930's or 40's or early 50's. Made by Mirror Aluminum Company in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Made from Aluminum. Alumilite Electro Hardened Aluminum as it says on the box. Includes the 12 original cookie disks which included a butterfly, camel, snowflake, swirl, puppy, star, Christmas tree, and heart.

Box also states Large size for easy filling and has a 1926 Good Housekeeping Institute Tested & Approved seal on it.
A sturdy workhorse for a cookie press but that is how they built things 50-75 years ago. It's in great condition the Aluminum body & plates look new. The black painted turn handle does have some paint worn off the edge and the box top is tape on .

There is the recipe circular as stated on the box and it's easy to find cookie recipes online. You could even use cookie dough found in the refrigerated section at your favorite grocer. This is the type of sturdy workhorse of a cookie press your Grandmother might have used.
