This 208 page hardcover book,
by Better Homes and Gardens, Is a treasury of Holiday ideas! There are colorful pictures
that show the finished projects and some diagrams that are helpful in completing the
creative projects. The projects range from Holiday Topiaries, candles, and beautiful
centerpieces to make your dining table festive, to wreaths and wall banners. Many of the
projects and ideas would be a wonderful family Holiday project! This book also
includes Holiday poems, songs, recipes and stories. The stories are a delight for the
whole family to read, share, and enjoy. One story is titled, "La Befana, An Italian
Christmas Legend", and another titled, "The Mouse That Didnt Believe In
Santa Claus". And the most special story of all, "His Name Was Called
Jesus". This story has a beautiful copy of the painting, "The Adoration Of The
Shepherds", from the Giorgione National Gallery of Art, Washington,
D.C.
The book is © Meredith Publishing Co., 1966,
Printed in the U.S.A. The
corners of the hardcover book have some wear,
There is a ink pen
marks on the inside of the cover and small
marks on the books binding. There is some black
speckles on the top of the cover. I'm not sure if it's part of the
design or what??.
Book has a
nice solid binding and no rips or tears. All in all it's in pretty good
condition.
