This recipe booklet was published by the ‘Home Service Department, Michigan Consolidated Gas Company 49 years ago. They were included when a new stove was purchased.

The booklet cover is made of sturdy paper with a clear plastic binding. The front and back cover does show signs of age and usage, it is slightly discolored and the plastic binding is missing 2 rings at the top and one on the bottom The inside pages are in good clean condition.
There are many useful cooking instructions and ideas included, and many interesting and mouth watering recipes. There is a chapter on, ‘Holiday Entertaining’, ‘Candies’, ‘Puddings & Sauces’, and ‘Appetizers & Beverages’. There are recipes such as, "Pink Shrimp Dip", "Apricot Streusel Braid", "Moravian Sugar Cake", "White Christmas Fudge", and "Baked Mushrooms and Spinach".
