This slim volume is interesting not only for its sound baking recipes but also for the many photographs of vintage cookware, utensils, and serving pieces.

The book covers Cakes, Cookies, Pies, Pastries, Biscuits, Muffins, Quick Breads, Frostings, Table Service & Party Menus. This is how baking was done before there were supermarket shelves lined with box mixes and grocers coolers filled with tubes of just open & bake products.

Book is in good condition for being around for 77 years.  It's still nice and sturdy. Very little shelf wear and no tears to pages, but some inside pages have some stains on them.
