This 11" x 8", black hard-covered book was published by, Eimer and Amend (Apparatus Sales Dept.), © 1920 - Established 1851, Inc. 1897. The first inside page reads: Catalog AA, 1920 Edition, Chemical and Metallurgical Lab Supplies and Assayers’ Materials. Within this 600-plus pages catalog there are the alphabetically described supplies, packing and shipping terms, and all listed prices of that era!
Also listed is the: Weights, Measures, Melting Points of the Chemical Elements, Intern’l. Atomic Weights, complete Index, etc.
On each page, there are black and white illustrations of some of the items that are listed. The spine of the binding on the book has pulled away on the inside of the front cover and is torn on the back cover (see last photo), but the cover is still firmly intact.  The corners of the cover show just a little shelf-wear’, and there are a few scratches on it. The pages have slightly yellowed with age, and several of them have a small tear, pencil mark, or small watermark – however, this book/catalog is in wonderful condition for its age of – 85 years old!! The publisher’s stamped golden emblem is on the back of the cover! This catalog will certainly be a jewel for a unique book collection! **An historical point of interest is: included on both sides of this page is a black and white illustration of the publishing house - Eimer and Amend on Third Ave., 18th to 19th St., in New York, N.Y. It would be interesting to find out if the building is still at that location!
